Job Description
We are currently hiring candidates for the position of Consultant/ Sr. Consultant- CDM BD Team for a leading company in environment for Mumbai, Bangalore & Hyderabad location.
JOB PURPOSE
The BD Consultants primary responsibility will be to manage client relationships and generate revenue through the sale of company's products and services to its customers. He/ she will be responsible for the management of certain existing client relationships as well as the identification of new target customers to enhance company's reach.
Brief Job Description (KRAs)
Developing a good understanding of our service offering in Carbon Advisory and Strategic Consulting in Climate Change and Sustainable development in detail and its various applications, methodologies etc
Developing a sectoral & territorial strategy for regional business development, Identifying Potential Projects, initiating contact, presenting company credentials & winning the assignment on occasions, establishing assignment contracts, assisting consultants and acting as a custodial of client interests to ensure that promises made by us are fulfilled.
Managing existing client relationships and contracts
Developing relationships with potential network partners for business development and enhancing company reach.
We expect person to create a successful track record for company and help us gain leadership position in the region.
Representing company at meetings with clients, conferences, forums etc
Preparing and launching campaigns and activities related to the promotion of new/ existing carbon services to new/ existing clients;
Candidate Profile
Skills required:
The position would entail extensive client interaction and hence good verbal and written communication skills (both local language and English) are must
A drive for excellence and achievement orientation are critical skills for this position
Person must be able to work independently and develop business in the region
Should be self motivated and be able to handle multiple tasks and projects in different subject areas
Fast learning is essential, as candidate would have to grasp the fundamentals of both technical and market-based aspects of the Carbon business quickly
Candidate should be willing to travel across the country
Work Experience: 1-3 years Sales/ Business Development in Institutional sales, consulting etc
Educational Qualification: B. Tech or MBA
Salary: - Salary is no bar for right candidate. It is depend on experience and knowledge.
