Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design and development of features in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. Role:
Architects, Technical Leads, and QA Engineers on delivering features. You will be involved in the full software development life cycle from planning, design, to the implementation.

Responsibilities:
Work with a team of Architects, and Tech Leads to translate the system requirements into a sub-system/ module design

Designing large-scale, highly available distributed software

Work with other sub-system developers to design, document and implement the interface modules

Implementing high-quality, high-performance code in Java

Debugging and troubleshooting problems in test and in production

Create and execute the unit test plan and interface test plan
Candidate Profile

BE or ME (or equivalent degree) degree in Engineering or Computer Science

2-6 years of experience in Software development using Java

Experience with databases and SQL

Experience with J2EE, SOAP, XML, Web Services technologies

Experience with Unix and shell scripting would be an asset

Experience with C++ would be an asset

Experience with Tcl would be an asset

Understanding of the Basic Networking Concepts like TCP/ IP

Strong object-oriented design skills

Strong problem solving skills
