Specific Responsibilities/ Functions
Development and maintenance of embedded system with good understanding processor architectures

Work on board bring-up and board specific customizations/ optimizations (for instance, porting Linux and other open source code/ tools for the specific board/ platform)

Development and maintenance of embedded system with good understanding on the video standards

Software development and ownership on application modules
Candidate Profile

Experience, Knowledge and Skills
5-6 years B. E./ B. Tech Computer science or Electronics

Experience in working in Real time Embedded Systems

Sound knowledge of internals of Linux and customization

Working knowledge of embedded Linux application development

Excellent in C, C++ Programming, knowledge and design skills

Should have done good Development and Developer level testing

Excellent communication skills

Strong understanding of Networking and Communication concepts

Comfortable in using version control tools such as SVN and Mercurial

Strong design, coding skills

Excellent communication skills both in written and oral forms

Ability to handle changes in the customer requirements and adapt the solutions

Customer focused professional attitude is a key characteristic requirement
